Canadian designer, Lucian Matis has returned with a colourful Fall/Winter collection with jersey, simple cottons and striking patterns. The Ralph Lauren meets a Hamptons vacation, the collection incorporated a beautiful mix of digital prints, bold colours and wardrobe staples.
Trendy cuts were refashioned into his own unique style. A notable example of the ever popular peplum look refashioned into both sleeveless and cap-sleeved knee length dresses in a dark grey and black patterned material. Simple full length skirts were a surprising sight on the runway for the line. All in a simple A-lined pattern, a plaid full sleeved dress, a black cotton knit skirt and one piece skirt in a blue pattern paired with a black shirt were simply styled and eye catching. Bright patterns in warm spring colours were fashioned into ankle length skinny pants, two piece skirt-suits (with black cotton knit sleeves), sleeveless thigh-length dresses with black triangle panels and simple cut shift dresses with waist ties.
