Baking In Fashion : Volcanic Sundae


In light of Earth Day yesterday, we found a cute snake you can quickly whip up at home tonight for your loved ones! Found on Spoonful.com, is an epic mountain of delicious  concoction that includes a mix of chocolate and strawberry.

Easily serve one of these ice-cream volcanoes at your next get together, after dinner or make it the centrepiece for a tropical party! Who doesn’t love a big mountain of chocolatey goodness? Chocolate ice cream topped with luscious strawberry lava, nothing beats this refreshing treat. Create a big masterpiece, or even make individual servings with smaller amounts! Ingredients
1/2 gallon tub-style container of chocolate ice cream
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
Directions
  1. To create the volcano, simply invert the opened half-gallon container of ice cream onto a large plate and cut or peel away the container.
  2. Allow the ice cream to soften for a few minutes, then use a spoon or butter knife to shape the mountaintop into a peak.
  3. Sprinkle on plenty of chocolate-cookie-crumb gravel and spoon sliced strawberries in syrup over the top. Make sure some flows down the sides.
