VS : Hair Conditioning Masks 1

Happy Friday Fashionistas!

Our Hair Month is coming to an end, and this is the last VS instalment that we have for you guys! We collected a couple of the newest, best selling and iconic conditioning masks. Every hair mask is made up of different formulas to target a variety of hair issues. Take a look at what we thought of Schwarzkopf Professional’s BC Fibre Force Fortifier Treatment,  TRESemmé’s Renewal Hair & Scalp Conditioning Mask and The Body Shop’s Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter.

BC Fibre Force Fortifier Treatment

I loved using BC Fibre Force Fortifier Treatment specially made for damaged hair. It’s a new generation of hair replenishment treatments from BC Fibre Force. They introduced this new dimension of hair repair that returns even the most damaged hair to revive it back to its optimal level of force and resilience, and it truly does! This amazing mask not only makes your hair super soft, but it’s the first of it’s kind with the formulas that Micronized Hair-Identical Keratins that penetrate deeply into the hair architecture to re-cement specifically the Cell-Membrane-Complex. The Cell-Membrane-Complex is an intercellular bonding cement that’s ultimately responsible for strong and resilient hair fibre. I absolutely loved the soft finish of this, making me constantly petting my long locks. But I also enjoyed how my hair felt stronger than it has in quite some time due to the keratin protein.

Application: Work into towel-dried hair and rinse out after 5-10 minutes.

TRESemmé Renewal Hair & Scalp Conditioning Mask

This great conditioning mask is slightly different from BC’s Fibre Force Fortifier treatment. TRESemmé’s Renewal Hair & Scalp Conditioning Mask nourishes your scalp while working to renew your hair. It also has a lasting, delicious scent that was very refreshing. This formula will leave your hair looking beautiful from start to finish, or shall we say scalp to tips. It’s made with tea tree extract and sunflower seed oil, which is probably the explanation for the delicious scent, and is salon quality. It helps repair the scalp at the surface cellular level and gives you manageable hair while moisturizing your scalp. It’s a super conditioning mask that deeply nourishes for soft, shiny hair.

Application:

  1. Start with TRESemmé Renewal Hair & Scalp Shampoo.
  2. Use this nourishing mask a couple of three times a week instead of your regular conditioner. For ultimate conditioning, use in addition to your regular conditioner.
  3. Apply adequate amount first from mid-shaft to ends. Work anything that’s left through roots. Run a wide-tooth comb or your fingers from roots to ends to detangle and fully coat hair.
  4. Leave on for 3-4 minutes, rinse thoroughly and finish with TRESemmé styling products.

The Body Shop Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter

The last hair treatment I tried out was The Body Shop’s Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter. This hair butter is formulated to condition and protect colour-treated hair. As I just re-dyed my hair, I loved getting the chance to try this out. It’s luxuriously rich and intensive deep-conditioning treatment that’s a rich and creamy butter. It’s the perfect weekly treat that works to not only condition hair but protects shine and radiance. The super eco-conscious formula is also made with no silicones, parabens or colorants. You will really enjoy the protection this hair butter will give to your fresh summer colour.

Application:

1. After shampooing your hair, smooth 1-2 hazel nut amounts onto palms and work through damp hair.

2. Leave in hair for atleast five minutes.

3. Massage with some warm water and rinse thoroughly.
